Step off the bustling Green Street into the foyer door and find yourself halfway around the world in an elegant restaurant just off Cours Mirabeau in Aix-en-Provence, France. Though distinctly French, a peaceful Zen-like esthetic pervades the atmosphere. That is because Maison Akira is home of the world-renowned chef Hirose Akira. His menu is like a symphony of truly beautiful French classics, made modern and dazzling with subtle Japanese influences, like his signature Miso-infused Chilean Sea Bass, which has made him famous throughout the world.

Title: | Amazing Miso Infused Bass! |
Excellent service. We tried the 9 course sampler and were very happy with the variety. The staff was able to make the experience very easy going and helped out with our birthday celebration by adding some special touches to the desert. The Miso Infused Chilean bass was incredible! A must for anyone that visits this resturant. The wine selection left something to be desired and the dress code was not enforced as one might expect when reading the requirements. Overall, a great place to have a special occasion or for a good meal any time (if you can afford to do it).
