Angelini Osteria
Restaurant Review
Simplicity and authenticy are two words that describe this traditional Osteria. A tiny place, yet a busy room where guests rave about the great food and ambience. A special in olives, polenta and scallops are among the wonderful eats at this great place!

Title: | That's Italian |
Cozy is a good way to describe Angelini. The staff is friendly and charming. The lasagne is delicious. My porchetta (roasted pork with cracklings) was cold, alright, room temperature, but I like my roast hot. It's probably worth asking if in doubt. The wines range from very good to spectacular. I didn't splurge on super Tuscans or barolos, but enjoyed a delicious bottle of chianti classico. Did I mention the lasagne is garnished with crispy fried leaves of spinach. I'm pretty sure their lasagne has no peers in L.A. It ain't cheap, but it's really good. The rating is really a 4.5, because of my cold roast. It's also cozy, but really busy. It ain't cheap, but it's real good.
